Pop-up Market Sales Associate

P/T- Weekends Only

Applicant must have a reliable vehicle.

Location: Various in Northern Virginia
Hours/week: Weekends Only
Pay/Term: $19 per hour- 6 month commitment

Responsibilities:

1. Represent White Lily Shoppe professionally and enthusiastically at pop-up market locations.
2. Engage with customers to promote our natural soap products and educate them about the benefits of using natural ingredients.
3. Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs.
4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pop-up market booth or setup.
6. Setting up and tearing down the booth before and after market hours.
7. Achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
8. Actively seek opportunities to drive sales and attract customers to the booth.
9. Communicate effectively regarding inventory levels, customer feedback, and market insights.

Requirements:

1. Must be a morning person, some market’s start as early as 7am.
2. Must have a phone to connect to Shopify Point of Sale to collect payments.
3. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
4. Passion for natural skincare and sustainability.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
8. Willingness to work weekends required by pop-up market schedules.
9. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
10. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
11. Knowledge of basic math for processing transactions.
