Discover an Old Town experience learning to create beautiful handmade soaps from scratch!
Join us for a Pressed Flower Soap Making class at Made in ALX in Old Town, Alexandria
🍹 Sip and Create: To add an extra dash of fun, we've paired this workshop with refreshing holiday drinks and lite bites. Sip on a refreshing drink as you immerse yourself in the creative process.
This social and relaxed atmosphere makes for a perfect bonding experience with friends, family, or a significant other.
What's Included:
- Drinks and lite snacks
-Hands-on instruction
-High-quality, natural ingredients for crafting your own unique soaps from scratch, using the Cold Process Method
-Participants will take home a 1lb loaf of Soap
- A Soap recipe, guide on commonly used oils with SAP Values, and step by step instructions.
Session is approx. 60 -90 min.
Safety Goggles/ Apron/ Gloves will be provided.
Minimum age requirement is 10 years of age or older.

One ticket covers the admission for a single individual
Participants will be handling Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), safety gear and responsible instructions will be provided, participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to class.
For a full refund to your original payment method, attendees must reach out to White Lily Shoppe for a refund 7 days in advance to the event. If after 7 days before the event, a class credit will be given.
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of any available refund options for the event.
About White Lily Shoppe:
The workshop will be led by Bianca, the owner of White Lily Shoppe, a local natural soap brand founded in 2019. After several years into her Social Services career, she decided in 2022 to pursue her creative passion for the art of soap making. As a self-taught artisan, she has achieved remarkable success, strategically selling her products at local pop-ups, farmers markets, and securing partnerships with boutiques nationwide, in addition, Bianca teaches soap making workshops across the DMV area and is dedicated to a mission of educating others on the simplicity of cleansing our bodies with the simple ingredients found in nature.
